Description

Arrival at Rimi Clinic

At Rimi Clinic, a sleek black Lexus X750 pulled into the parking lot, followed by two other cars. On each of the rear cars was boldly inscribed "AMJ BIG MAN". The doors of the rear cars opened, and six men stepped out, all dressed in black. They were huge, muscular men—clearly bodyguards.

From the black car, a tall, commanding man stepped out as a luxurious scent filled the air. For about 10 seconds, everyone stood still. Then the man who was being awaited finally emerged. He wore coffee-brown cover shoes and matching trousers with a milk-colored shirt, neatly tucked in with a coffee-brown belt. His face was stern, without a hint of a smile, and he had well-groomed hair.

That man was Abdallah Mohd Jibo, famously known as BIG MAN, a young billionaire, charismatic, proud, and commanding respect wherever he went.

Big Man Visits the Hospital Room

He stared at the clinic, checked his wristwatch—it was 10:12 AM on a Tuesday morning—and walked calmly toward the entrance, with his bodyguards following closely behind. People were already staring, recognizing him.

Upon arriving at Room 11, he signaled to his guards to remain outside and entered. A few nurses nearby muttered in admiration, “Wow, Masha Allah, whoever ends up with this man is truly lucky.”

Big Man entered the room with a subtle but strong scent. Kamal was lying on the bed with a drip. TJ and Junuid were seated nearby. They smiled broadly and greeted him. He shook hands with them without saying a word and sat down quietly, scrolling through his phone.

Kamal greeted him, “My friend, good morning.”

After about five seconds, Big Man responded, “How’s your health?”

Kamal replied, “Alhamdulillah, getting better. I’ll be discharged soon.”

Big Man asked, “So what’s actually wrong with you?”

TJ and Junuid laughed mischievously.

Kamal, calmly, said, “Please, my friend, Leemart is on her way to visit. Don’t yell at her or scare her when she arrives.”

Big Man scoffed, stood up, and placed one foot on the chair, staring down at Kamal with a cutting tone.

“You’re sick because of love? And because of that little girl Leemart? And now she even claims to love you too? Aren’t you ashamed?”

He continued ranting, belittling Kamal’s affection for the young lady.

Kamal Defends His Feelings

Kamal defended himself, explaining that love isn't always logical—sometimes, you love someone who doesn’t love you, and vice versa. He reminded Big Man that Leemart is now 18 years old and that he was emotionally hurt when she initially rejected him but recently accepted his feelings.

Big Man didn’t buy it. “Please don’t preach nonsense to me,” he said and stormed out angrily, leaving behind only his lingering scent.

After he left, Kamal sighed, “Honestly, Big Man doesn’t deserve Preety.”

TJ added, “If not her, who could endure his arrogance and still love him?”

They discussed how Preety only loves Big Man for two reasons: his wealth and his looks. Kamal wished Big Man would find someone who truly loved him and whom he loved back.

Family History of Abdallah (Big Man)

Abdallah’s father is Alhaji Mohd Jibo, a wealthy former Minister of Petroleum and contractor from Yola. He and his wife Jamila (Ammi) were deeply in love and had Abdallah two years into marriage. They later had another son, Khalifa, who died as a baby.

Abdallah’s uncle Usman married and had a son, Sadeeq, and a daughter, Haleematu, nicknamed Leemart. Ammi eventually gave birth to another daughter, Sa’ada, whom Abdallah adored like a daughter, even naming her “baby”.

Due to family pressure and sorcery from the new wife Balki, Ammi was divorced. Abdallah bought her a house and continued caring for Sa’ada. He resented Balki and suspected her of breaking his parents’ marriage. Balki’s goal now is to marry her daughter to Abdallah or eliminate him to inherit his wealth.

Abdallah’s Background and Wealth

Abdallah studied abroad from childhood and was always reserved, close only to his parents. He earned a bachelor's and master's in business. Upon returning to Nigeria at age 30, his father built him a furniture company, followed by petrol stations and supermarkets. In just a few years, he became a young billionaire.

He’s now 34 and met Preety a year ago. Despite her wealth, she pursued him persistently until he agreed to consider marrying her—only to please his father. Preety’s parents insisted she finish school and her mother recover from illness before marriage.

Big Man’s Friends and Personality

Kamal has been Abdallah’s friend since childhood. Kamal is now a journalist, while TJ and Junuid are close friends likely because of Abdallah’s wealth. Abdallah is tall, fair, and incredibly handsome, with deep black hair, long lashes, and commanding presence. Though hot-tempered and proud, he is honest, punctual with prayers, and shockingly generous.

Sadly, he was introduced to substance use by TJ and Junuid due to the trauma of his parents’ breakup—something his family doesn’t know. Kamal found out and tried to help, but Abdallah never fully quit.

He’s never confessed love to a woman, and he deeply dislikes women who express love to him, often humiliating them instead.

Encounter with Ummul Khairy at the Garden

At an exclusive garden meant for the elite, Ummul Khairy sat alone, lost in thought. She had seen a mysterious, attractive man days ago and couldn’t forget his face. Although she was engaged, her heart stirred more for that stranger.

Suddenly, he appeared again—Abdallah (Big Man), entering the garden with his entourage. Security asked people to clear a section for him.

She was the only one left seated. TJ and Junuid mocked her for not moving. Abdallah hadn’t noticed her until TJ spoke.

He looked at her, and irritation flared. To him, it was blatant disrespect.

He approached her table. She looked up and met his eyes. Her heart raced, but she remained defiant.

She snapped, “Excuse me! I paid to be here. You also paid. So why should I get up for anyone? Who is this Big Man anyway?”

Kamal, observing everything, admired Ummul’s courage and honesty.

Abdallah stood, silent and intense, scrolling his phone. She asked, “Please move so I can pass.”

He finally looked at her after 10 seconds. Their eyes met again, and both hearts skipped.

He moved closer, close enough that she could feel his breath.

“Stupid girl,” he hissed, “You think you can speak to me like that and walk away?”

He insulted her appearance, mocked her pride, and said:

“I may not have heaven or hell, but I’ll show you I have power.”

He blew his nose with a handkerchief as if she stank, making his entourage laugh.
